sankalpa means soul-aligned commitment.

yoga is your sankalpa - in motion.

your commitment to living well.

Hi, I’m Ali.

retreat curator and founder of Nourish

What draws me to yoga isn't just the practice — it's the layers underneath. I love getting into the mechanics of movement and exploring what makes it feel meaningful. The desire to lead retreats, private sessions, and trainings comes from a constant need to learn and an even stronger urge to share. Whether it's breaking down a pose, diving into breathwork, or unpacking the why behind it all, I'm here for the nitty gritty — and the transformation that happens when we explore it together.

Travel is close to my heart, but it's never passive for me. I want to surf the break, ride the mountain, chase the trail — the stuff that actually challenges my body, not just moves it. Truth is, I'm not a natural mover. I have to train for the things I want to do, or my body won't meet me there. That's why these retreats exist — for the people who want to explore the world with play, but need a plan that matches the ambition.

practice styles

  • VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa yoga classes offer a creative and challenging sequence that artfully blends strength, fluidity, and mindfulness. Rooted in the balance between effort and ease, each flow is designed to cultivate inner resilience while emphasizing strength in length—building power through expansive, intentional movement

  • YIN YOGA

Yin yoga classes offer a deeply meditative and creatively sequenced experience, where passive stretches target the deep fascia to enhance flexibility and mobility. Each session invites calm exploration and gentle surrender, embracing discomfort as a gateway to transformation—allowing the body to soften, the breath to deepen, and the mind to settle into stillness.

  • MOBILITY PRACTICE

Mobility classes offer a creative and intentional approach to restoring ease in movement, targeting joint health and tissue resilience through slow, focused work. Each session is designed to improve functional range of motion and help you find comfort in how your body moves—gently addressing the “sticky, crampy bits” with mindful precision to unlock smoother, more capable movement in everyday life.

  • HOT SCULPT

Hot Sculpt classes combine creative sequencing with high-energy movement, blending heat and Pilates-based strength training to enhance muscle tone and build total-body strength. Each session is designed to boost endurance, improve functional movement, and leave you feeling sculpted, empowered, and energized from the inside out.

  • BARRE

Barre classes fuse creative choreography with Pilates-inspired strength work, delivering a low-impact yet high-intensity experience that sculpts and strengthens from the inside out. With a focus on alignment, control, and endurance, each session targets deep stabilizing muscles to enhance posture, build tone, and support graceful, functional movement.

  • REFORMER

Reformer classes use the machine to creatively support three distinct movement styles: Sculpt builds strength and tone, Modern challenges control and coordination, and Yin promotes deep release and mobility. Each session is designed to enhance functional movement and help you move with greater ease and confidence.

TESTIMONIALS

I have been a student of Ali’s for over three years, and over that time I have benefited so much from her classes!
Ali has a modern take on yoga, and she brings a noticeable passion to her teaching. The experience always feels personal and curated, even right down to the palo santo and the music. She seamlessly weaves in her knowledge about anatomy as an additional layer. She also incorporates a lot of functional movement into her classes. As a result, my mobility has improved so much. I love her unique way of guiding students while encouraging them to explore, so they get the most out of their practice and time on the mat. I always leave feeling strong, energized and grounded!

— Andrea

Ali makes you feel seen the moment you walk in. Her classes are thoughtful, welcoming, and deeply human — never a performance. She teaches everything from mobility and yogalates to vinyasa and yin with the same care and intelligence, offering options, modifications, and permission to meet yourself where you are. Her classes challenge you in different ways — sometimes physically, sometimes mentally — always building strength, resilience, and awareness. Her humor and lightness make the practice accessible, reminding you that yoga doesn’t need to be taken so seriously. Her authenticity is felt in every class.
Practicing with Ali feels supportive, grounding, and challenging in the best way.

— Emilee

I have been attending Ali’s yoga classes since late 2023, and immediately drawn with the creativity and structure that she brings to every session. Ali consistently offers unique and challenging flows, integrating in a balance of strength building and conditioning, mobility, restorative poses and breathwork; while offering modifications that make her classes attainable for all levels. If you’re looking for transformative yoga experience, that’s catered to your needs or open to challenging yourself to new things, Ali’s your go-to instructor.
