YOGA RETREAT
SEPTEMBER 11 - 17, 2027
A movement‑forward premium surf and yoga retreat set in the coastal wilds of Quinta da Fortaleza, one of the most walkable, bikeable, cliff‑lined pockets of the Algarve. Your boutique villa sits just minutes from the beach, where you’ll settle into the rhythm of the coast. Think wellness — but with a touch of luxury.
Our first international retreat is built on balance: mentally and physically.
Mornings on the rooftop terrace move you — yoga, mobility, strength-based Pilates, surf-focused conditioning — building the body and the confidence to meet the day ahead, whether that's a coastal cycle or a first paddle out.
Evenings soften. Restorative yoga, yin, yoga nidra, and nervous-system work by the pool bring you back down, so the day settles rather than lingers.
The space in between is yours. Surf once, or every day after. Cycle the coast, wander the villages, swim, read, or do nothing but feel the breeze.
Your itinerary isn’t built around constant doing — it's built around moving when you move, resting when you rest, and letting both do their work.
THE DETAILS
-
Our retreats are an invitation out of your everyday routine and into the balance between play and restoration. New edges, new places — a chance to feel what being nourished actually feels like for you. We're not here to sell you the quaint yoga retreat. We're here to share the adventure — the exhale and the inhale, the active with the passive. Our retreats bring adventure with peace, and we help prepare you for both, months in advance, with our bespoke movement plan.

You'll move daily on the rooftop terrace or beside the pool, at a private boutique villa just minutes from the coast. Surf sessions, coastal adventures, deep rest, and good company — all woven together in one of Portugal's most stunning seaside regions.

Ali Taylor
Ali has been teaching movement since 2020, with a foundation rooted in anatomy and nervous system regulation. She trained in the UK under Yoga Therapies, with a focus on vinyasa and yoga therapeutics. Since then, her studies have expanded to include mobility mechanics, Pilates reformer, barre, Turiya marma therapy, breathwork, and meditation. Travel has always been at the heart of her work and her life, and her dream of holding space for people has remained a constant thread. She is most inspired by the opportunity to explore the world with like-minded people, learning new movement, seeing new perspectives, and creating meaningful connection along the way. For Ali, travel is the greatest teacher, and retreating is a way to move, learn, and grow together. She is beyond excited to host her first international retreat
Larissa English
Larissa has a deep connection to nature and movement. Childhood days spent outdoors shaped her understanding of the calming, grounding, and healing qualities found in the landscapes that surround us. Years of figure skating and skiing taught her the art of balance, alignment, and working with the elements; a foundation that translates seamlessly into surf‑focused yoga.
Her teaching is rooted in presence. She brings her love of nature and her alignment‑based approach into every practice, creating a grounding atmosphere where movement becomes a pathway for growth, connection, and awareness. Her classes often echo the beauty she finds in birds, foliage, and the shifting natural world; gentle reminders of how we can move with our environment rather than against it.
Perfect for surf yoga, Larissa helps you feel steady, supported, and attuned to your body as you meet the ocean.
Jamie-lee Morin
We’re so excited to welcome studio owner Jamielee to this retreat, where she’ll be helping facilitate the classes and share her depth of experience with the group. She has been teaching yoga for over 15 years, guiding students toward a deeper connection between body, mind, and breath. Her approach is rooted in alignment-based yoga, blending modern movement science and functional training with a deep respect for traditional yogic principles. Her teaching was profoundly shaped by her training under Maty Ezraty, whose influence continues to inform the way she moves, teaches, and supports others. Ten years ago, Jamielee co-created a yoga teacher training program that has since become a cornerstone of her work, running successfully for over a decade and shaping generations of teachers. Leading that training remains one of the most meaningful parts of her path. She is also a certified Reformer Pilates instructor, breathwork facilitator, and cold immersion guide. Together, these practices allow her to offer a fuller, more embodied approach to movement and self-discovery
